Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the Company Data Guys website, dashboard, API, billing, and CRM integrations.
Service
Company Data Guys provides access to company information fetched from public LinkedIn company pages and related public fields. Company Data Guys is independent and is not affiliated with LinkedIn, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
Customer responsibilities
Authorized use
You are responsible for your account, API keys, CRM app installation, billing choices, and use of returned data.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, unauthorized surveillance, spam, credential collection, restricted-industry abuse, or attempts to bypass technical and billing limits.
CRM integrations
The HubSpot app reads company records to find a LinkedIn company page or handle and currently writes a Company Data Guys employee count property to the same company record. Future CRM integration features may write additional company data when enabled. Uninstalling an app stops future app access but does not automatically delete CRM properties, fields, or values previously written to the customer's CRM.
Billing and credits
Paid plans include a monthly company lookup allowance and metered overage as described on the pricing section of the website. Trial credits and prepaid credits are promotional or usage balances, not stored monetary value. Refunds may be limited when a material portion of credits has already been used.
Data ownership and outputs
Customers retain ownership of their CRM data and API request data. Enrichment outputs are provided from public source data as available at request time and may change when public pages change.
Availability and limitations
We work to keep the service reliable, but public source availability, third-party platform limits, network conditions, and rate limits can affect lookup speed or completeness. We may throttle, reject, or pause traffic that risks service reliability or violates these terms.
