Connect Company Data Guys to HubSpot

Start here to install the production Company Data Guys Marketplace OAuth app. The OAuth handoff is currently served by the same Company Data Guys API gateway at linkedincompanydata.com.

Before you approve access

Confirm the HubSpot approval screen says Company Data Guys. The production app ID is 39505279. Do not use any old install URL that contains /static-token/ or app ID 39503562; that was an internal starter app and is not the Marketplace OAuth app.

Requested HubSpot scopes

  • oauth to complete OAuth and refresh access tokens.
  • crm.objects.companies.read to read the company record being enriched.
  • crm.objects.companies.write to write the Company Data Guys employee count property to the same company record.
  • crm.schemas.companies.read to find LinkedIn company URL or handle properties.
  • crm.schemas.companies.write to create the Company Data Guys employee count property if it is missing.

After install

  1. In HubSpot, go to Companies and open a company record.
  2. If the Company Data Guys card is not visible, click Customize at the top of the middle cards area, choose Default view, click the plus button, open the Card library tab, search for Company Data Guys, click Add card, then click Save and exit.
  3. Under Key information, click the gear icon, open Add properties, search for LinkedIn Company Page, make sure it is checked, then click Save and Save and exit.
  4. Add the correct LinkedIn company page value, such as https://www.linkedin.com/company/microsoft/, then click away from the field so HubSpot saves it.
  5. Click Pull latest company info and confirm the card says Employee count written.
